Support Indie Sellers - Part 5

Hello and welcome to another round up of some more fab #IndieSellers that I have found.

These ones are all new to me and I've just discovered them by checking out one of the many hashtags that are used over on Twitter.

So get ready for a whirlwind around social media as we check out some of the accounts.

First up is I Love Dolly who shared this fab handmade pendant this morning on Twitter.

Scrolling a bit further I found these beautiful mosaics from Mosaics by Sara

They are so colourful and she has lots of similar items in her Etsy store so do go check it out.

Next up is this macrame decoration from Amanda Tamsin

I remember learning macrame at school but never got the hang of it like this #IndieSeller has done!!

Next one is Spratt's Designs who shared this lovely handmade paperweight this morning.

She has a fab range of lovely items for sale in her Etsy store so make sure to check it out.

Scrolling down a bit further I came across this lovely bag from Gertie's Bags

You've got to admit that it's so much nicer to carry your shopping in one of these than a thin plastic bag that will probably rip before you get home, right?

And finally, seeing as it's Halloween this weekend here is a scary soap for you from Seatangles.

Bet the kids will love one of these for bathtime!!

Well, that's all for this weeks round up of #IndieSellers.

Please let me know if you like these blog posts and it you would like me to continue with a few more round ups - at least until nearer Christmas so you can get some fab gift ideas.

See you next time.

Support Indie Sellers - Part 4.

Well, here we are again with another selection of fab #IndieSellers for you to check out.

This week I am popping over to Folksy and sharing some fab selllers from there so if you are sitting comfortably then we'll start.

The very talented Ann Galvin AKA Elf World Creations makes these amazing mini sculptures.

I have been gathering my own small community of elves for the past couple of years and might just have to add a couple more new inhabitants soon.

Over the years I have developed a bit of an obsession with handmade lampwork glass beads. There are some very talented makers out there and one of them is Lampwork Beads by Jo.

Not only does she make beautiful glass beads but she also turns them into some lovely pieces of jewellery too so make sure to check out her shop.

Next up is Sue Trevor who is an absolute whizz with a sewing machine. She makes the most amazing creations from bags & quilts to 3 dimensional objects like tea cups & pots.

Check out her shop - you will be amazed at the creations.

Another extremely talented lady is Joys of Glass who makes beautiful glass suncatchers. This time of year, like a lot of other #IndieSellers she is busy making festive themed items like these fab Christmas trees.

Definetly another #IndieSeller to check out.

My final offering this week is Caractacus Pots who makes lovely mugs, pots, bowls etc in her studio in Middlesex.

So there we are. Another selection of fab #IndieSellers for you to check out.

See you next week for some more lovely handmade goodies.

Support Indie Sellers - Part 3

OK, here we go with another round up of great #IndieSellers for you to check out, this time ones I have found over on FB.

We'll start with Michelle, who is know as Creatively Wired. She makes a fab range of jewellery and homeware items so make sure to pop over and have a look.

I especially love her positive pants which come as either a pin badge, fridge magnet or keyring.

Would make a great stocking filler or secret santa gift.

Another fab seller is Argyll Sea Glass who makes lovely jewellery using sea glass found on the beaches of Argyll, which is my neck of the woods.

It's been a while since I was able to go beachcombing here on Bute but I do still have a stash of beach glass bits that I will get round to using one day!!

Another #IndieSeller that I have been following for a while is Stef at Agni Presada Burning who does the most amazing pyrography.

She is so very talented and I just love her style.

Make sure you check out her work.

Yet another fab seller that I have been following for some time is Melted Glass by Steph who is one of the many glass workers that I follow.

She has these fab glass Christmas trees which are just amazing.

So there we go for this week. Another 4 fab #IndieSellers for you to check out. Please give them a follow on their social media - I've only given links to their FB pages but most of them are on other platforms aswell.

See you again next week for another crop of lovely creative folk for you to check out.

Until then.

Support Indie Sellers - Part 2

If  you read last weeks blog post then you'll know I am doing another set of posts in support of #IndieSellers.

Let's get straight into this weeks selection.

If you are vegan then you might well be very tempted to check out Fab Fudge  over on Twitter.

This is a yummy looking white chocolate fudge laced with Bailey's Almande cream liqueur.

However, they have over 20 different varieties to choose from so you are bound to find one, or more, that tickles your taste buds.

If candles are your thing then check out Bee Happy UK I've just spotted this fab gift set over on Twitter.

She has a lovely range of products over on her website so go check it out.

If you are looking for some lovely Christmas cards then check out Homeless Made which is a social enterprise initiative set up by Baron's Court Project who support people experiencing homelessness and mental health issues.

The artwork is done by some of the guests who use the service and proceeds are split 50/50 between each artist and the project.

The artwork appears on cards, t-shirts and pin badges.

I spotted these cute Christmas hearts on Twitter so had to go & check them out.

Made by Sew In Skipton she has an Etsy shop full of lovely fabric creations so please pop over and check it out.

That's all for this week.

I'll be back next week with some more fab #IndieSellers.

Support Indie Sellers - 2021

Last year I did a series of blog posts featuring some fab #IndieSellers that I have come across on various social media sites.

The past 18 months during the covid pandemic has been hard on everyone especially small independent creatives & sellers so I wanted to try and help out in a small way by featuring some of them and thought maybe now would be a good time to do another post or two featuring some more fab folk.

So grab yourself a cuppa and lets go browsing.

I've just found these fab wooden keyrings from Raven Handcrafted over on Twitter.

They are made from an old whisky cask and would make an ideal gift for a Dad or Grandad maybe.

Wonder if they actually smell of whiskey too!!

That would be so cool.

You can find her Etsy shop here

I've just spotted these fab fingerless gloves over on Twitter from KnitClaire

Perfect now the weather is turning cooler and the colour is bound to brighten up even the dreariest of winter days.

You can find her on Etsy here

Aswell as a pair of gloves to keep your hands warm you might also need an ear warmer too for when it gets really cold.

Just spotted these lovely colourful crochet ones from Little Red Frog Designs

I love the purple one and you can see more of her work here

I've just found MUdesigns who makes some lovely resin items.

Looks like she is getting ready for Christmas.

You can check out her other items here

If the dreary weather is making you crave some bright colours in your home then you have to check out Lara Craft Creations

Her amazing cushion covers will brighten up any sofa or armchair.

Lovely retro fabrics.

Check out her Etsy store here

Right, that's all for today.

I'll do another blog post for next weekend and share some more fab #IndieSellers with you.

Please go check everyone out and give them a follow; lets spread the love around in these tough times.
